Absolutely nothing to criticize.

Location: the hotel was not far from the Brunswick restaurant near by, the Elgin Opera House, and the main streets. I appreciated the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Greatly enjoyed central heating, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator in the room. Most of the staff were incredibly hospitable recommended a restaurant. The location was nice, adjacent to the Brunswick restaurant near by as well as Elgin and easily accessible.

Nothing that i didnt like.

The Mays Place Bed And Breakfast is a wonderful and beautiful hotel located next to a couple of restaurants in Elgin. the affable staff offers free wake up calls and ironing services. the location is particularly good, making it ideal for visiting the Brunswick restaurant nearby. Additionally, it's excellent for those looking to explore themed mini golf.

In general: Host was intoxicated upon my arrival. I gave a heads up of my arrival but she was so intoxicated she forgot. Gave restricted hours for showering - no showering in the morning. She did not stay onsite and made false accusations after the stay. Location and surroundings: Location close to the main road and down town. Neighbors had well groomed properties. Service: Horrible. An host who gets in a motorized vehicle and drives should be removed. Dining: Did not stay long enough to experience. Sports and leisure: None available Room: Historic in ambiance but not great quality. Useful tips: Avoid this B&B.

Perfect location, right next to Elgin Scenic Rail Station and Elgin Opera House. Surrounded by two restaurants in Elgin. Set in a beautiful mountain area.

The Mays Place Bed And Breakfast is a nice hotel with a wonderful historic building setting. the staff was amiable and provided us with a great stay. the ambiance is quiet and the property offers a wide array of great food options. the setting is absolutely perfect, close to the church, Elgin Opera House, two restaurants, and only 3 miles away from a wildlife park.

We chose a double room for the beautiful city view, the bathroom was well-equipped with hair dryers and bathrobes, and the staff was friendly and offered wake-up calls and ironing services.

This place is in a great and peaceful location near the rail station, and it's easy to get around by walking. The staff here are all friendly and very welcoming.

The location of this place was perfect for me, being right by two restaurants and the opera house, and it was set in a beautiful mountain area.
